How does the nutrient content of Breast milk compare to that of Infant Formula?

Please help me with this question if you can. Please explain, thanks. Honestly to me they all sound true but I’m guessing it must be A. however i dont really know the differences and online isn’t helping much. hopefully someone here can be of help? these all sound true right? =/

How does the nutrient content of breast milk compare to that of infant formula?

a. Breast milk provides nutrients that support immune function that formula does not provide.
b. Breast milk is a better source of iron than is formula.
c. Breast milk is higher in folic acid.
d. Breast milk is a better source of vitamin D than is formula.

  1. Answer is A.. They always say “breast is best” but not all mommies can breastfeed for oodles of reasons medical and personal as well so infant formula is always evolving and they keep trying to make it closer and closer to breast milk.

  2. Yikes! Is this a quiz you’re taking?? I would go with A. You can always fortify iron, folic acid and vitamin D. But you can’t replace natural immune support.

  3. a b and c. vit d is supposed to be gotten from the sun but because of the state of the ozone that cannot be done safely.
    there is so much about breastmilk that is absolutly amazing breastmilk changes everyday with the . growth of your baby. It provide antibodies and tons of white blood cells look into the sites below
