How to strengthen immune system?

I have a weak immune systems (id be that guy wearing sweaters in the summer time). I get cold often and I seem to get cold sores often.

(aside from excersize, diets, eating right etc.) What vitamins can I take in order to strengthen my immune system and curb cold sores from flaring up?

(home remedies are nice, but vitamins would be appreciated.

  1. 1. Eat/drink lemon! . Lemon is the ideal food for restoring acid-alkali balance. Drinking freshly squeezed lemon juice in water, or adding it to tea, salad dressings (in place of vinegar), baking or cooking, helps maintain the body’s internal “climate” at a pH which supports healthy bacteria instead of the viruses and harmful bacteria which thrive in more acidic environments.

    2.Give your body an herbal boost. Hundreds of herbal supplements and tinctures exist to give the immune system additional support during the winter. I recommend essential oils as an excellent source of immune-stimulating compounds, and the rawest and most natural form of any medicinal plant, but there are other supplements which can be effective. Fresh herbs and whole food remedies are always preferable over packaged herbs or supplements, since they have a much higher potency and frequency and your body absorbs more of their value.

    3.Get a full night’s sleep. Everybody’s different: your body may need anywhere from 6 to 10 hours of sleep each night. Whatever your personal sleep requirement is, get it!

    4.Eat plenty of protein. Protein is a building block for a healthy body, mind, and immune system.

    5.Drink plenty of water. This is almost, but not quite, a given; most headaches occur because despite the number of reminders, people still aren’t getting enough water!

    6.Stop drinking coffee. Contrary to recent marketing as a source of antioxidants, chocolate and coffee are two of the worst things you can do for your immune system and your health.

  2. There are special formulas to strengthen the immune system, you can ask the pharmacist at any drug store which one would he recommend. Get the store brand if possible as it is cheaper. Vitamin B complex and Vitamin C are always good source of anti-oxidants as well as Bee Propolis that boost the immune system and has anti inflammatory properties.

  3. A thyroid imbalance as well as anaemia (iron and vitamin B12) can make you feel cold when everyone else is feeling warm. Iron, vitamin B12, folate, vitamin D/calcium (needs vitamin D to absorb), magnesium and potassium are commonly found to be deficient with a thyroid imbalance.

    “A good supplement of Vitamin B12 is very efficient if you want to prevent cold sores. Aloe and cornstarch paste which are to be applied to the infected area is also very popular home remedy for cold sores.”

  4. If you have a weak immune system and are wanting to get a boost, the #1 immunomodulator on the market is Beta 1,3-D glucan. I highly recommend NutriMune due to their purity. Purity in this supplement is very important. Other than that I would recommend eating healthy, sleeping enough, and exercise. Good Luck!

  5. Human Growth Hormone activators and releasers are of great help in stalling the aging process of our body. Not only our skin, but also the internal organs which get affected will benefit from these.

    HGH releasers/activators help in maintaining the levels of HGH in our body during periods when they are naturally low.

    It is between the age of 20 to 30 years that the amount of HGH starts to decline; this at a surprising rate of 14-15% per 10 years.

    Usage of HGH Advanced HGH releaser would thus help to balance this declining rate and may even reverse various signs of aging!

    What is a HGH Booster and How Does It Work

    Human Growth Hormones occur naturally in the body and are secreted by the pituitary gland helping our body to grow. With the onset of adolescence, there is a decline in the amount of HGH secreted by the glands.

    It plays an important role in metabolism and any deficiency of these hormones is directly responsible early signs of aging, fat deposition, reduction in muscle mass and results in low immunity.

    However, with the advance in technology, there are now external alternatives which can be taken to balance the level of HGH in our bodies when they begin to decline.

    These may include, Human Growth Hormone Supplements, HGH activators, HGH releasers and HGH boosters. It is the last one which we are going to discuss here.
    What are the benefits of HGH Releaser

    HGH releasers are most helpful in helping the body with the following:

    * Makes skin look younger
    * Makes skin thicker
    * Decreases the wrinkles
    * Helps in making bones stronger
    * Helps in lowering body fat
    * Leads to enhancement of sexual performance
    * Makes the immune system stronger
    * Improves vision
    * Improves memory
    * Muscle building
    * Increases the amount of energy in body
